Your Role as an Intern in Our Consulting Team

As a member of the consulting team, you will have the chance to engage in some of Scriptoria’s exciting international consulting projects alongside experienced team members. After receiving adequate training, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborative Projects: Work closely with our team of developers to conceptualize and design specialized project-management software tailored for international development and research organizations.
  • Communication Skills: Utilize your excellent communication skills to translate client needs into actionable instructions for the data team.
  • Analytical Mindset: Approach data science and technology as tools for problem-solving and embrace the detective work involved in applying these resources effectively.

Key Details of the Internship

  • Salary: An annual gross salary of £23,796 (pro rata), paid monthly.
  • Location and Hours: You can choose to work from home (UK only) or from our office in South London. Standard working hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, including a one-hour lunch break (1 PM to 2 PM).
  • Annual Leave: You will receive 33 days of holiday pro-rata, which includes statutory and public holidays.
  • Sick Pay: Up to 5 days of paid sick leave per year; after that, the UK government’s Statutory Sick Pay scheme applies.
  • Pension Contributions: We offer a pension scheme with 3% employer and 5% employee contributions, allowing for additional voluntary contributions.

This internship will be full-time (40 hours per week) over a six-month period, beginning with an initial one-month probation. Regular reviews will be conducted to track your progress, with formal assessments occurring at 1 and 3 months.

Flexible Working Location

Our staff have the flexibility to work either from home, our office in Tooting, SW London, or a combination of both during standard operational hours. If you choose to work from home, you must maintain a suitable environment for video calls with clients. Regardless of your work location, you will regularly interact with senior team members, providing an excellent opportunity to learn new skills and share ideas.
